CDW Insurance

If damage occurs to your rental vehicle you may be liable to pay an amount (an excess) towards the damage. The amount varies depending on the vehicle type.

Even if your vehicle includes CDW Insurance, check if there is a CDW excess (you will be able to see this in the quote in the Rate Details) Many deals offered by our suppliers have zero excess CDW (look for "Inclusive No Excess" deals when you obtain a quote). Check the Rate Details when you get your quote to see if there is a CDW excess. Alternatively, you can purchase full CDW cover when you collect the vehicle from the rental company.

When you get a quote, look for the following:

• Inclusive No Excess - these deals have zero CDW excess, but some items may be excluded such as tyre damage, window damage, loss of keys, etc.

• Inclusive - these deals have a CDW excess figure, the excess amount is given in the "Rate Details" which you can read prior to booking a vehicle.

If you decide to book an Inclusive deal, you can choose to either take out full CDW cover with Mondial when you make a reservation, or you can purchase additional cover from the rental supplier when you collect the vehicle.
